Did you know?

New owners are a very diverse group - coming from all backgrounds. The group includes hospital pharmacists, new grads, experienced pharmacists, foreign grads, corporate managers.  It’s not just the corporations buying stores. Most of our sales are to private buyers. Partnerships are another option for buying a big ticket store. Financing is rarely an issue... you don’t have to have your house paid off in order to buy a business. You may not even need a down payment. You don’t necessarily have to buy the building when you purchase a pharmacy. Some vendors are able and willing to help you with the financing! Ask us about pharmacies with vendor financing options. The demand for pharmacies is ever increasing - largely due to the demographic shift. Do some research - there will be no lack of prescriptions to fill.

Notes on Business Packages:

Our purchase packages are EXTREMELY comprehensive. In most cases, you and your advisors will need nothing more to make your decision - other than to go see the store***. The business package contains a great deal of confidential and sensitive information.  It is important that the seller have a comfort level that their information is handled properly. It’s important that the information not be leaked and the fact that they are for sale is not purported. You will be asked to sign a document that indicates your commitment to keep the information confidential.  The agreement is derived from standard industry  forms but as with any legal document we encourage you to seek legal counsel on any binding agreement. Prices typically exclude inventory. Offers should be and are typically formatted as price of goodwill plus inventory.
